  1. ADHD was the catchphrase more than 10 years ago and continues to be- most times it is misdiagnosed and the vast majority of these drugs quit working the same way once a child reaches puberty- their brain chemicals change and the drugs reaction changes too. Every few years there is a ‘new’ disease kids have, and it causes them to be medicated 9 times out of 10. It is sad.

  2. this is not a good sign.

  3. I did not realize just how widespread a a problem this is. School is very competitive so it is not wonder this is happening.

  4. Seems like taking these drugs would misrepresent one’s true ability if they actually work.

  5. Wow, that is really scary! Why do students feel the need to take drugs to better perform at school? I know there is a lot of pressure on students today to do better & take on more…Makes people that managed to get through school with good marks and no drugs wonder how this could happen. I think we all need to slow down a bit, smell the roses and perhaps enjoy life sometimes rather than never having any ‘down’ time that we all desperately need.

  6. This one was an eye opener! Thanks for the scoop.
