Infographics And Visual Marketing Events To Visit In 2014

Visual marketing has become such a part of online marketing in general that you can’t generally have one without the other. The use of multiple forms of media, such as photos, videos, infographics, cartoons and logos are a big part of attracting users in the world today. So much so that entire social networks have been dedicated to visual media, like Pinterest.

It is also a big part of the different events happening all over the world in 2014. Learning to properly integrate visual media is important, and yet often ignored by those who are turning ever more to social media. Events are having to change that now, catering to those who have been looking for assistance in the new role of visual marketing. The ones below are some of the more popular conferences that address visual marketing, along with other elements of marketing in general.

NMX 2014

The media world has changed a lot in recent years. Blogging, podcasting, web series and other online entertainment platforms have taken over. Where once they were a niche market, they are now standard forms of communication and even business. NMX celebrates them all, while connecting people involved in the industry with one another. An All Access Pass starts at $1,097.

When and Where: January 04, 2014 – January 06, 2014; Las Vegas, Nevada. Vegas.com has some impressive accommodation deals for that period.

Social Media Strategies Summit

Not exactly aimed at marketing, this is a conference for the use of social media in a business context. Of course, visual marketing does become a part of this process. Currently, there are passes for both the conference and the workshops. You can register for each on an early bird rate right now.

When and Where: February 04 – January 06, 2014; Las Vegas, Nevada. ParisLasVegas is one of the recommended lodging options.

SES New York

The SES conference series is one of the most popular and talked about in the world, with events happening all over the globe. Check out their site for information on when they will be opening up registration and releasing their schedule.

Content Marketing World Sydney

Referred to (rightly) as the largest content marketing event in the world, this conference is massive. After the success of last year’s Down Under event, this one is set to be even bigger. It will start with a pre-conference workshop, then two full days of general sessions, breakout sessions and entertainment events. This includes plenty of networking opportunity, and exhibitors. An all access pass, including the workshop, conference and virtual access, starts at $2,385.00. Individual passes can be purchased, as well.

When and Where: March 31, 2014 – April 02, 2014; Sydney, Australia. To enjoy your trip for longer, you can search and book hotels at low prices at elegantrooms.com.

Online Marketing Summit

Unlike the traditional Online Marketing Summit (OMS), this one is a new expo called the Tech Marketing 360. It aims to combine the traditional and digital marketing formats in a more cohesive manner that utilizes the benefits of both. There will be five tracks to choose from, and plenty of lectures and networking receptions. A regular pass gets you into the conference, but none of the workshops that will be held over the two days. An all access pass starts at the early bird rate of $1,599.

When and Where: February 18 – February 20, 2014, Dana Point, California. Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel is the official venue and hotel.
