Infographic: Testing Social Media Signals in Search

Does Google monitor social media activity? Does it reward social media activity with greater visibility in organic search rankings? We set out to find out with a study of 6 nearly identical websites. We applied some social media promotion to some of the sites and measured the improvements in Google’s rankings.
