4 cyclists die in Tour de France

In the 45th year of Tom Simpson’s tragic death, leading law firm Accident Claims have put together an infographic which chronicles the fatalities of the Tour de France and highlights the dangers cyclists (and spectators) face with each race.

Since the first competition 1903, the Tour de France has seen four cyclists suffer fatal injuries, as well as several deaths of spectators, demonstrators, children, journalists and officials. This infographic puts the risky nature of the tournament into perspective.
