Is working from home the new normal? 2020 is the year that few people could have predicted, and the impacts of COVID-19 have reached all organizations in every corner of the globe.
One of the ways that social distancing has affected populations is by making it impossible. Or more difficult, for people to visit their ordinary places of work. The result of this has been a shift to working from home, a trend that has been described in an infographic recently created by a prominent IT company, Computers in the City.
This uses research to detail the impacts of the coronavirus on usual working arrangements. As well as the various benefits for both individual employees and organizations as a whole.
There is also advice on remote software and IT security. As well as some useful health and wellness tips.
Even when restrictions are eased and employees are able to return to the office, staying at home may still be the best possible option.
