While the national mean annual wage for project management specialists come in at just under $100,000 in the United States, where are these professionals earning the most money? From the team at FinancialForce comes this infographic that looks at the 25 metro areas across the United States where project management specialists earn the most. This infographic uses analyzed data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics to determine where they are being paid the most across the country.

According to the data and research conducted by the team at FinancialForce, it was found that project management specialists in San Jose, California, are earning the most money annually on average, with an annual mean wage of $133,950. Aside from San Jose, California, only three other cities in the United States see annual mean wages of more than $120,000, including Birmingham, Alabama ($130,250 annually), Seattle, Washington ($125,300 annually), and San Francisco, California ($124,430 annually).

This infographic also includes data on which states in general where pm specialists are earning the money on an annual basis. According to the data pertaining to U.S. states specifically, pm specialists earn the most on an annual basis in New Mexico, with an annual mean wage of $123,160. Other states where project management specialists earn the most include Washington ($120,800 annual mean wage), New York ($111,890 annual mean wage) and New Jersey ($111,460 annual mean wage).
